What are the benefits to be member at the Zurich Animal Protection Society?
1. The quarterly published magazine "zürcher tierschutz" offers
information covering the world of animal protection on a regular
basis. Mostly 28 pages in volume, the publications report about
pets, wild animals, events, news within the Society (e.g. annual
report of the board, elections etc.) and offer pages for children. Editors are: Fritz Bucher, Sigi E. Lüber, Claudia Mertens, Bernhard Trachsel.
2. Participation on Excursions and educational Events, Information about fairs and animal activities.
3. Individual Consulting regarding behaviour problems of pets,
exchange of experiences, possibility of active participation in Local
Groups, right of proposal to launch new animal protection projects.
4. Special offers for members (e.g. CD-ROM), individual legal consulting at lower rates. |

An animal protection society can only achieve their goal if they are supported by an active membership and an extensive circle of donators. That's the only way to be able to help all over where animals are in need.
For instance the homeless dog, the mouse and the cat in the research laboratory, the poor golden hamster, tired of running in the playwheel, the cow, the pig, the chicken and company in the coop, the fox, the hare and the hedgehog in front of our front door, the rhinoceros, the tapir and other "wild animals" in far away continents.
...and all this for only 10 Swiss Francs per year! About this fact, even Le Corbusier is lifting his glasses with great astonishment...
