But since the agreement did not require any legal commitment for signatory countries, it’s up to each country to step up and make changes within the general framework to meet the agreement’s targets. And today, three years later, the truth is that few of the signatory countries are acting with determined, concrete measures to reduce their emissions.

In the European Union, for example, only seven countries are aligned with the objectives of the agreement. It’s time to put pressure on remaining countries that have not yet approved clear legislative measures to comply and help save the planet.
